Heather Taylor is a copy editor, multi-faceted artist, and writer living in southeastern Vermont. She began copy editing as her teaching career shifted gears, and for eleven years she worked on Connect magazine, a journal of teachers' innovations in k-8 math, science, and technology education. Heather is a writer herself and her work has been included in anthologies of Write Action in Brattleboro, Vermont; the Chrysalis anthology, published by the Swedenborg Foundation; and Connect.
Heather holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Syracuse University, a Masters of Early Childhood and Elementary Education from Antioch New England Graduate School, and a certificate in Copy Editing from Emerson College. She is currently a freelancer, enjoying the flexibility and autonomy that offers. She is a member of the Western New England Editorial Freelancers' Network. In addition to writing, editing, and illustrating, she enjoys traditional dance and song, handwork of all kinds, hiking the gorgeous hills of Vermont, and pursuing an eclectic and vibrant
spiritual life.
